Gaziantep University Publications, which began publishing in 1988, is a recognised/well-known International Publishing House as defined in the associate professorship application requirements of the Inter-University Council (ÜAK), having been in regular operation at an international level for at least five years, with many of its published books listed in the catalogues of the world's top 500 universities, and having published at least 20 books by different authors in the same field. Gaziantep University Publications continues its activities within the scope of this definition.
Gaziantep University Publications, which has more than 20 publications in languages other than Turkish, is recognised as a Recognised International Publisher in accordance with the Academic Incentive Allowance Regulation, with amendments published in the Official Gazette No. 31011 on 17 January 2020.
In its announcement dated 19 November 2019, the Inter-University Council (ÜAK) stated that, in accordance with the decision taken at the meeting of the Higher Education General Assembly on 17 October 2019, Gaziantep University Publications has the status of an international publishing house in accordance with the conditions for applying for associate professorship.
